La Jolla Chef To Challenge Bobby Flay on Iron Chef America Tonight!
Nine-Ten Restaurant is located in the beautiful Grande Colonial Hotel, 910 Prospect Street, in the heart of the Village in La Jolla. Zagat had this to say about Nine-Ten, "Extraordinary to Perfection". Prior to joining Nine-Ten in 2003, Chef Knibb was at Robert Redford's Sundance Resort. He has a very impressive resume. This impressive bio, and his mouth watering taste sensations, is what has led to him being San Diego's first chef on Iron Chef America.
Chef Knibb, and his talented team, serve California Cuisine and take the time to daily select produce from local farmers. Being a native of Jamaica, Chef Knibb is not afraid to combine many interesting ingredients. Some of his featured dishes are Loch Duart Salmon with curried couscous and picked apples, Lamb Osso Buco with thumbelina carrots, chantrelle mushrooms and cranberry beans and Seared duck Breasts with grilled figs and 18 year aged Balsamic.
Okay, here is the best part. There will be a viewing party tonight (11/27) starting at 9PM at Nine-Ten in La Jolla!!! You will be able to meet Chef Knibb and enjoy wonderful food and drink specials. If you can't make it to the party be sure and tune in to the Food Network and watch this exciting Chef's duel. I know Bobby Flay is a phenomenal chef but tonight I will definitely be in Team Knibb's corner!
